I know this woman who is white and married to a black man. She is pregnant and a definite Facebook fanatic and posts often — which isn’t a big deal. But, what I think is odd and kinda is a big deal is that she consistently uses black emojis... like these🤰🏾💁🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️ when referring to herself. Recently someone asked her why, and she responded “because my baby will be black so I have black inside of me and that makes me half black”. I was kinda floored. Have you ever seen this kind of mentality? Is this common?
