Hurry up and wait... (just venting)

Sitting in L/D in a room. Pretty sure my water broke earlier. Still at 1cm dilation per the nurse. Waiting on the doctor to come see me. Wife is about 12 hrs away making her way home. She's a trucker. My best friends/birthing team are with me but just sent them to go eat. I'm starving as I have been on the go most of the day and didn't stop to eat. So hoping that this goes smoothly. Don't forsee baby girl coming before tomorrow. So she'll only be 17 days early.
