Sometimes I can't stand my bf and his kid

His child is 2 (terrible 2s) and when we have him which is a lot, he gets so irritated with the child when he acts up.

Today I finally lost it because between listening to a screaming child and the father being just as irritating I told him he needed to not be so irritated with his kid.

Now we're fighting. I do all I can to help.

Not even sure if there's advice for this, just needed to vent.

How can I get the dad to not be so short tempered with his own child
