Twin probability?

My grandmother was a twin, and i have two twin cousins. Wondering if i have much probability of having a set myself? :)

My mom is a twin and we have about 5 sets of twins on both sides of my family and this is our second pregnancy with no twins

Lol my granny was a twin. My dad is the youngest of 9 and none of the grandkids have had twins yet. My parents have always joked it would be me. I’m not completely convinced yet that I’m not having twins, but hopefully we will find out for sure on Wednesday.

Probably is higher because there are twins in your side. They say it skips a generation but that’s not always the case. My grandmother had 5 sets of fraternal twins. Last set was born 56 years ago (my mom and aunt) no one has had twins since. I am the last grandchild to have a child, also the 2nd youngest grandchild. Let’s hope this little chocolate chip I’m carrying is two! I’ll find out in a couple weeks with my first ultrasound.

There are 7 sets of twins on my mom's side of the family, 4 on my dad's side of the family and 4 on my son's dad's side of the family and no one in my family has had twins.

Oh I hope i DON'T have twins!! My great gran was a twin, my gran had twins, my mum had twins (my brothers), my aunties daughter (my cousin) has twins.... ALL MOTHER'S SIDE OF FAMILY. My family love joking to me that I might be carrying twins. I sincerely hope not!! 😂😂
