What to do with toddler's hair?

My 17mo daughter's hair is getting so long! She won't keep clips or pony tails in to keep it out of her face though, and it's driving me crazy. I don't the look of bangs on kids as I always had bangs, and had to beg my mom when I was 10 to let me grow them out. I wanted hers to grow out, but I don't think I can stand them anymore. What would you do?

I personally would trim them just a little bit to keep them out of her eyes, and push them to the side, and hope she gets used to clips soon. :) but that’s just me

My daughter just turned 2 and her hair is out of control. She will keep a ponytail in if we go out but at home she looks like a hot mess. I just can't bring myself to cut it. I just keep putting ponytails in especially if she is eating but I don't think I can let it go much longer. Will probably go with a long side swept bang. Nothing to blunt.

My daughters hair does the exact same! We use a little styling gel to swoop it out of her eyes.

Maybe don’t do straight across blunt bangs but just a little trim to help it look more neat...my daughter is 5 and I still have that problem I will go back and forth between trimming her bangs and letting them grow out, her hair is whispy and short...it just won’t fill out or grow.. and so her hair is constantly in her eyes and it drives me nuts! .... I pull it back by pointy tail, clip, whatever but she pulls it out as soon as she’s home from school or wherever...she’s ready to be comfortable which I don’t blame her but it drives me crazy!

I plan to just trim my girls. not full blown bangs but enough of trim to help stay out of her eyes. So like once a month or once every two weeks or somthing

also tell her how good she looks with pony tails be like "look so beautiful" like when shes good and is rewarded with you time and love and Everytime you go to do her hair "(bbgirls name) oh look so beautiful
