Anyone else not calling family until it’s time to push?

Question

I cannot do drama and family drama is not something I want during childbirth. 
Def don’t want my MIL to see my naked and my mom is insane. She keeps saying I have to experience the pain of childbirth and she will make sure I am not given any medication. 
How about no.  
I’ve decided not to let anyone in my family know I’m in labor until I have to push and then my husband can call them. 
I just want my husband in the room and that’s it. 
If they say anything, I’ll just say it happened so fast and we didn’t have time.

i definately wont be telling anyone a single thing, except my husband, until its over and baby is in my arms. if i were you i really wouldnt risk them arriving if pushing takes a long time (some women say 2 or 3+ hours of pushing. if nothing happens after 4 theyll take you for a c sec afaik). yeah definately dont want to be bothered at all, people are batshit crazy about childbirth and i just dont get it. good luck.

Girl I wouldn't say anything unless the baby fell out of me in front of their faces. LOL. My family is FULL of drama...and my mother runs the kingdom. I hate it too.

We decided to not call family until baby is born and we are close to being discharged. My MIL is crazy to say the least, and more so I want to enjoy my baby and this incredible moment with my husband. Ya know, before people are constantly in my face trying to hold the baby.

I made IT clear I don't want anyone other then hubby dearest.. 
he called everyone before time.. needless to say there was drama.
I did not get the quality time I needed

I'm just going to message them with a picture after all is said and done. "Meet  ____!" 😂😂 When I had my daughter WAY too many people showed up. I was exhausted and just want to spend the quality time quietly with just my boyfriend and my daughter.

its baby #2 for us and we're not telling anyone until AT LEAST a week after baby is born. amd even then, no one is allowed to come over. its our boding time as a family, i don't want everyone coming over.

Um just let it be you and your husband cause pushing and right after you're gonna be very vulnerable or exposed. You'll want to bond with baby and you will be exhausted. Let them come visit after you've had some time.
