Bath toys getting moldy?

My son has bath toys that fill up with water (they have small holes in it and squirt water out) .. well I always make sure to get the water out after his bath, but I noticed that black slimy stuff came out of them after a while. 🤢 Anyone else notice this?

use a hot glue gun on the holes before you put them in the tub for the first time that way no water gets in them and they won't get ruined

You could probably kill the mold by making a bleach mixture and filling the toys with it, then let them sit for a while with the bleach in them, then squeeze them out and let them dry somewhere hot for a few days. Then I’d probably plug up the holes with super glue so that you won’t have to do it again!

There’s pretty much no way to get all the water out. We switch out toys every 2 months or so, keeps bath time fresh and exciting too.

It’s basically dried up water. If it has holes, get bleach and water and suck the mixture up and let it sit for a little bit before draining. This should help.
