Constant backache?

Question

I'm almost 9 weeks and back hurts all the time, Tylenol is doing nothing but kinda filling it for a bit. Walking, sitting, laying, stretching, hot showers, is not doing anything. I can not get comfy when trying to sleep. Any suggestions that don't cost an arm and a leg? I will be calling my midwife soon.

Some people buy the pregnancy pillows but I’m 36 weeks and only use a regular pillow that I’ll put different places like between my knees, against my back, or my current favorite, cushioning this belly of mine in the front. That may relieve some stress on your back when you’re sleeping! I also love taking baths with epsom salt. I’ve been using eucalyptus ones which help with stress relief and cramping. Other than that, when my back is hurting I have a microwaveable rice heat pack I use on my back as well to help it feel better. Ask your midwife too, but those are what have worked for me!
