I’m scheduled to begin <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> with ICSI treatment in January. My husband and I keep debating on the number of embryos to transfer.

My doctor doesn’t recommend more than one due to the health risks associated with carrying multiples, but he will transfer two if the couple requests it.

I keep hearing about people transferring two and ending up with one. We want to transfer two for this reason, but I also am not 100% sure about having twins the first time around. I used to love the idea of twins, but we’ve had a trying year and I’m worried that twins may be a lot to handle.

How have people made the decision? What advice did your doctors give? If you transferred more than one, any regrets?
