So I have both my nipples pierced and i plan on breastfeeding my little one (due in August). I know it’s a long time off but I wondered if anyone knew if I had to remove them or not? I know health and safety with the ball coming off and baby swallowing it. Obviously I would remove them when it was time to feed.

Also, I’ve had them pierced for 5 years so maybe someone knows if they would stay open?

Please be kind and helpful, I don’t need any judgment on this - I’ll probably just cry... as I cry at everything at the moment.
