Best camera for a beginner?

Hi everyone, my husband wants to get me my first camera as my college graduation present (yay) & I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on a great quality camera for a beginner. I love taking photos of my kids on my iPhone, but I really want better quality and to start learning more about photography. I don’t want to spend more than 600 if possible. This is one I saw that had amazing reviews but if anyone had any helpful info I would really appreciate it as i know nothing about cameras 😬
