late period, bfn.

I was due for my period on Thursday December 7th. It is now Monday the 11th and still no AF. i dont feel any of my usual symptoms before I get AF such as cramps and bloating. I have been feeling nauseous this past week though. I've taken several pregnancy tests but they were all BFN! I'm confused as to what to do or think.. My partner and i have been TTC for a month or two now so we are both hopeful (late period) and disappointed (negative tests).
