Toddler swiped a drink that was left on the coffee table!!

I’m leaving this anon because I feel and look like the most HORRIBLE mother..I’ll start with the fact that I’m extremely careful what my baby eats and drinks, he has only had water (and his first sip of apple cider last night!) and Whole Foods. No processed crap or ANYTHING high in sugar. so now for the part where I’m a really fucking shitty mom, I came back to my parents house to clean up the mess from decorating for Christmas last night.. well I’m the midst of the mess I cleaned up any choking hazards and garbage and am cleaning/playing. Well I ran to the kitchen (still could see him) to dump a coffee mug and pie plate.. I missed the fucking cup that had my dad’s remnants of sailor jerry and coke, I didn’t see it when I grabbed the other two. So it was maybe MAYBE 1/4

of a cup of the watered down mixture. Probably more melted ice than alcohol/coke. I’m a first time mom, my son is a year on the 20th.. what the HELL do I do?! Has anyone had this happen before? Do you just monitor and make sure they don’t show signs of intoxication?or take them in immediately? I’m speechless that this even happened. I looked away to set the dishes in the sink and when I looked back he was chugging the cup already and I just couldn’t get there fast enough. Part of it also spilled so I’m not even sure how much he consumed.

Please just keep the negativity to yourselves.. any insightful info or advice is appreciated.

THANK YOU everyone for advice/understanding. I’m loving the stories and knowing I’m not alone lol. 🤦🏼‍♀️Called poison control they said based on the amount he will likely be unaffected which he hasnt been showing any signs of anything so thank God for that. To the woman saying it’s common sense not to leave said drinks out, I agree 100% which is why in my own home alcohol is not left out or reachable to him. Which I don’t even buy it I have some major aversions to alcohol due to past experiences of what was dropped INTO my alcohol not the alcohol itself, anyhoo I don’t drink, the only alcohol I’ve had in my home was gifted to me for my 21st birthday, which I went hiking and ditched the alcohol for, it’s probably all bad by now honestly lol. However outside my home I don’t have control or always knowledge of what’s left out or not and when your grandparents with your youngest child being 16 you don’t exactly think like a toddler is in the house. I completely missed the glass because it blended in with the decoration mess. It’s my fault for not seeing it but accidents happen. I’m, in fact, not super woman as much as I’d like to be when it comes to my baby.
