im starting to get soooooo annoyed by my mom always feeling on my stomach... it was cool at first but now im just annoyed... i just want her to give me my space 🙄🙄🙄🙄 i feel bad bc she just wants to feel her first grandson move around but hell, she can play with him when he gets here 😐 and i live with her right now after my son’s father kicked me out, so im around her all the time, i dont just see her every once in awhile.

I haven't had anyone put their hands on my belly, besides my husband and my 4yo son, but it's not that often. I can't imagine; even if it was my mom, I don't think I'd like that. It would be hard to say something if she did though because she's so overly sensitive.

If you dislike someone touching you, in any way, for any reason, you can ALWAYS ask politely for them to stop. If you feel crowded and need space, maybe just let her know how uncomfortable you feel and that her touching you makes it worse, and that you'll tell her when it's okay?
I do this with my mom. I live with her, and she's not overly grabby don't get me wrong, but she's learned to wait until I say "wanna feel the baby?" That way she knows I'm ready and it's okay for her to do it.

Make a joke out of it. I had to tell a friend “alright alright, now my turn to feel yours!” And I actually reached for her belly and she backed off. I think she got the picture 😏

My grandma does this to me. Without even asking or anything just walks up to me bends down and starts rubbing my stomach and talking to “sonny boy” her own personal nickname for him...drives me up a wall. So to me, I don’t think it’s rude to say please give me some space, you don’t have to touch my belly every time you see me.

Please let her enjoy it. I would get annoyed when my mom would rub mine, but now that baby is here, my mother enjoys every minute of it.
