Are mesh liners for cribs safe?

First time mom to be here! I’ve read that the bumpers and stuff are not safe. But are the mesh crib liners safe?

that's what I have. they are breathable. The first day I took it out of my daughters crib she got her leg stuck! They can squeeze into very tight spaces lol

They’re technically still not safe and I was soooooooo against them but then my son kept getting his arms and legs out of the crib and waking up in the middle if the night in pain and I couldn’t take it anymore. He was probably 7 months so he was old enough to move around and roll over etc so I finally caved and got the mesh ones. I mean .... try to not use them especially in the beginning. They’re unnecessary in the beginning....

no bumpers mesh or otherwise are recommended on baby's crib. mesh are still a strangulation hazard.
