When to get a blood test??

So I’m getting BFN’s which is common for me until I’m 1.5-2 weeks late, I’m 2 days late now and in my next pregnancy they want to try me on progesterone pessiaries as I’ve just had my 4th misscarriage at the end of September. I’m feeling pretty pregnant atm, but I’m too scared to get a blood test cos I feel like if it’s negative I’ll break my heart. 😭😭😭😭

Yeah I won’t get a script till I’m actually pregnant,  as most of my miscarriages are later on in the pregnancies and I guess that’s just how they do it here

How many dpo are you? Are your cycles long? My mom just told me she didn’t get a positive until 2 weeks after her missed period, granted this was 1980. But it has me wondering because I’m on progesterone suppositories from 3dpo to 16dpo. If I get a positive test at 16dpo I keep taking them. If it’s negative, I stop. What if I’m just not producing though hcg at 16dpo? I’m so worried, I’m considering taking the progesterone the extra 8 days just to be on the safe side. This is my 2nd medicated cycle with the pills. Last cycle I tested with generic cheapies. I’ve spend so much money on digital tests. Am I sabotaging myself with cheap tests. I’m also considering a blood test too, maybe a week past my tentative “missed” period which is delayed from the pills?
