Eating healthy for baby and me?
Hello, first time posting. I am about 6.5 weeks pregnant. I was eating plant based from June to November- lost 22 lbs in that time. I screwed up the week before Thanksgiving and haven't been able to get back on track. Is plant based (veganism) healthy during pregnancy? My midwife specifically told me to eat lots of lean meats and whole foods. I also have to take the 3 hr Glucose Test this month. What diet, in your opinion/experience is best for baby and me? I will be talking to my midwife as well. Thanks.
