PICKLES?? CUCUMBER

Just found out pickles are just cucumbers shrunk in vinegar??! I thought it was an actual proper vegetable. Do yous know this? Am a stupit? Feel like ma minds been blown!! I hate cucumbers but love pickles!!!

They’re called pickles because they’re pickled. So they’re actually pickled cucumbers and you can pickle pretty much any food by drenching it in vinegar :)
