It took 9 months to grow that baby, it’ll probably take about that long to get completely “back” to your new normal. Keep in mind that there are likely some permanent changes, and even if you get all the way back to your pre-pregnancy weight your body may still look different! And it’s okay. In fact, it’s beautiful. YOU are beautiful. Your body grew and housed an entire human being and, if you have chosen to breastfeed, it is still sustaining that life. No matter how it looks, it is strong, it is beautiful and is is perfect.
