After Chemical-Pregnancy Success Stories???

Question

I just had my first pregnancy. (Turns out it was chemical, whatever that means). To me it was real. How many of you have experienced this and how soon after were you able to conceive again? I’ve heard CP’s are common when it’s your first time conceiving. Is it more likely to carry to term next time? Anyone, anyone?

I had one about 3 yrs ago within 48 hrs after finding out I was pregnant I lost it while I was work. My dr said I could try again right away and ended up pregnant right away with a baby girl

I think I have had one, my doctor did a blood test and said it was a low positive then the next day nothing. I still haven't been able to conceive and that was last yr in May when that happened.

Chemical pregnancy means the egg was fertilized but it didn't implant properly or the body detected chromosomal defect and rejected it. I had a chemical pregnancy in August and was pregnant again in September...currently 15 weeks. They are very common and most women ...unless early testing don't even realize they were ever pregnant. The chances of back to back chemical pregnancies if you are relatively healthy is only around 2%. Drs recommend waiting a full month until you get your next period to try again ...just to give the body a chance to heal and give them a more accurate way to date the pregnancy. I'm sorry for your loss I know it is very emotional. Big hug and baby dust
