I woke up and lost my mucus plug at 7am, saw the doctor at 9am and he said I was 4 cm dilated and 80% effaced! He also said not to go into L&D; until my contractions were 5 mins apart..which was total bs. I was in SO much pain that evening and went in anyways when they were only 8 mins apart. I was 7cm dilated and completely effaced. The pain was unbearable and I was so far along an epidural was my only option. But I got it and it was wonderful. Pushed for 14 mins and then she was here!! Love her little Christmas hat from the nursery 🤶🏻
