Has this happened to anyone else? Need help!

So AF was due Friday 12/8 and I tested that morning and got what I believe was a faint positive. Waited a few days and still no AF so tested again (yesterday) and got what appeared to be another positive with a darker line. Or so I thought. Tested again in the afternoon to make sure and still had a second line. Well today I woke up to AF!! Like full period symptoms with heavy bleeding, bright red blood, clots, severe cramps, all the joys of AF. How did I get three positives over the last few days but still get a period today?? Are those really not positives and I’m just reading them wrong? I’m sooo confused. Really thought I got my BFP over the last few days until I woke up with AF today. I just don’t get it. Has this happened to anyone else?
