Baby sleeps wherever I sleep. Sleeping over at grandparents' will be when the baby can consent to the idea... (or in emergencies of course.)

only because my mother in law is in a home and my father in law can't take care of s baby due to being in a wheelchair

Yes I have let my child stay at her Fathers Mother’s house. And it went fine. They loved the baby and took care of her very well. They checked in at different points but she got to spend time with her Aunts and Uncles plus her other Grandmother. They took care of your partner what makes you think they’re not gonna take of your baby just as well.

I can’t even get myself to leave my girls anywhere for more than an hour or 2 so over night trips won’t be until they’re at least one years old

Over Thanksgiving we were at my in-laws house and my husband came down with viral meningitis so he stayed in bed the entire week. I needed to run to the store for more diapers and a few other items, so I left our son with his grandma and grandpa for about 3 hours. He sleeps through the night, so I think I’d feel okay leaving him with them overnight if I had to. I wouldn’t hesitate to let my parents watch him, though, because they’re younger and my mom watches my sister’s kids all the time so she’s used to diapers and calming fussy babies.
