When I wore pads, I'd wear them just in case. Now that I know my body better, I am no longer surprised by my period, I can tell when it's coming. If I'm spotting, I'll put my Diva Cup in.

I know it’s coming so I’ve got my ugly “period panties” on in preparation. But I can’t stand to wear any pads any longer than necessary (they really irritate me down there - like diaper rash for adults lol) so I don’t put one on until it’s officially started.

I can tell when my period has arrived because I get really bad cramps. And it always starts off as a little bit of blood so there’s never a crime scene in my underwear lol
