Short and simple!

37 weeks and baby was Breech.

Came in on 11/28/2017 at 8am for a schedule ECV (external cephalic version) in hope to turn this baby. Been waiting for hours. Epidural in around 3pm. Doctors finally came in for the procedure at around 4:30 pm.

In all this I am completely closed. No signs of going into labor.

Around 4:30 ish they start the ECV, but the pressure was so so painful I couldnโ€™t continue with it anymore. Felt that my head and legs were going to explode. So the ECV has to be stopped and was a failed attempt.

Now doctor checks me because contractions were stronger and back to back. Keep in mind I canโ€™t feel them. I am now 2cm dilated. Doctor comes 2 hrs later and now I am 4cm dilated.

At this point doctor doesnโ€™t let me go home as baby is Breech, so she schedules a Cesarean. We go in at 9:15 pm, epidural was wearing off, so they added some more. But during the major surgery I could feel a lot of pain. Had to go through general anesthesia. Worst ever because my husband had to leave the OR and I was KO.

But God willing baby was born healthy and my little blessing made it to this world ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ
