What does everybody do when out with a formula fed baby?

Question

So how does the whole water thing work? 
If I put boiling water in a bottle and kept the formula separate and then added the formula when it was feeding time would that be ok? 
How long can you keep the water for? 
What does everyone do when you’re out and about?? 
I have ready made stuff but I don’t want to use that all the time

I’m not worried about heating the bottle up, I mean how long will the water be ok for in my bag? How long is it sterile and ok to use for? As in I know you can only keep a bottle of formula for one hour

I use the to go formula container. I also put a bottle of purified water in my bag! As long as it not left out in heat I just leave it in my bag! The formula to go container makes its easy since it’s already measured out. When I’m at home I warm the bottles. If I’m out I obviously don’t and my baby takes it just fine (he’s 7 weeks old).

I measure the formula ahead of time and keep it separate. I also boil my water ahead of time and let it cool down to a nice warm (not hot) temperature before pouring it into my thermos. When it’s time to feed, I pour warm water into the bottle, then mix the formula in and shake. I have little metal mixing balls that I put in my bottles to make it easier to get the clumps out.

When we are getting ready to leave we put powder in the amount of bottles we will need for the time we are out. And then we keep a waterbottle with water in it to make those bottles.

Why would you need to heat the water? I’ve given my son room temp baby water since he was a newborn. I just put that water in however many bottles I take depending on how long we’ll be out, and I take formula with me. I also put a bottle of water in there just in case, Dasani or something. Before I had my son I thought you had to heat their bottles up but my son couldn’t care less as long as he’s fed lol. Do whatever works for you!!! I know they have on the go bottle warmers I even got one for our shower and never once used it.

Make a bottle before you leave. Heat water first then add powder to avoid making hot spots in the formula. Just keep the bottle in a thermal pocket in your diaper bag.

My daughter isn't picky about water temp so I just fill the bottles at home and I have a formula container so I just dump it in and mix when needed. You can always ask for a cup of water to set it in to warm up, I did that when I had to heat breastmilk.
