Baths?

Is it bad to give my 6 week old baths daily? It helps him sleep good at night. When I don’t he wakes up every other hour or refuses for me to lay him down in his bassinet but when I give him a bath he sleeps for hours in his bassinet

Our pediatrician said it’s perfectly fine to bathe every day! He just recommended only using soap once or twice a week as it can really dry their skin out!

We do, and our pediatrician gave us a weird-but-effective tip: put a few spoonfuls of cornstarch in the baby bathtub so she can soak in it, because it's a natural emollient, and way cheaper than fancy bath oil ;) Her skin is silky soft all day :)

We almost bathe our 7 week old everyday  hoping that it will help her sleep better. Well it hasn’t but she loves it and during her fussy nights that is the only 15 min when we all can have a break😔😔

Yes I started doing this too just don’t use soap everyday. I just rinse him with water
