???what to expect at dr. appointment

I have an appointment with my gyno in early January because  my husband and I  have been ttc for over a year. we  are both in our 30s and of course I am worried about infertility issues. now that I made the appointment this is all I can think of. I was  hoping you could help me prepare/give me an idea of what is going to happen at my gyno appointment to help ease my worry. thanks for any and all advice.

I have my appointment in January as well.. SO already did this test which came back lower than expected. He will see a urologist. Let your SO go to do a test as well. I've had ultrasounds this year already do I don't know what I will have to do..so I'm following this post.. good luck to you.. here's hoping we get a positive before our appointment

My doctor made me lose a few pounds over 3 months, and gave me a paleo diet to follow. After that, since I still didn't conceive within the 3 months, she started me on progesterone and clomid to kick start my period and ovulation. 
They might want to test your hubby, too, but since I had already convinced once before on my own, she didn't think it necessary for us. Got pregnant month 2 on meds. Good luck!

Prob give you a script to start either bloodwork or a transvaginal ultrasound and then take it from there.

Hi Emily,  I had my appt 2 months ago and did a research before going because i was so scared..so I'll recommend you to write down every question you want to ask so you don't forget. Mostly what they'll do is an ultrasound or transvaginal to see your uterus, then will ask you to get bloodwork etc.. and also my husband got checked out too(sperm count and mobility i think) Good Luck with everything, if you have any question dont hesitate to ask ;)
