contractions.

I am very very familiar with Braxton hicks contractions, as I have been have them since about 22 weeks... currently 33 weeks. Well tonight I started in having mild contractions that came with a little pain I was having about 7 contractions every 10 minites.. then they got intense. I mean like full blown labor pain contractions .. in and up my back lower abdomin ... couldn't walk couldn't talk they were so intense. this lasted for about a hour and a half. And now I'm back to just my regular painless Braxton hicks contractions .. has anyone ever experienced this ? I don't know if since they stopped if I should still go in to the hospital .. or just wait till morning and contract my doctor.
