Baby sleeping schedule?

So I’ve been trying to get my 3 month old on a more regular sleeping schedule. He sleeps at about 3 am until 8 and then again from 8 to anywhere between 11 and 3. I have tried to just let him cry it out but the neighbors call the cops and complain to the manager.

It’s normal for babies sleep patterns to be all over the place but now that the baby is technically not a newborn it’s a good time to start a schedule/routine. Try to keep the baby engaged and awake during the day ( except for naps of course.) Bath/ bottle or boob/ and bed usually helps. Lavender body wash may be calming Honest Company makes a nice one with natural lavender fragrance. White noise/ sleep sack or swaddle. Use a rocking chair or glider if you have one. I am not against CIO but this is usually used as a last resort. Three months is way to young for that- please do your research. A baby that age doesn’t understand. Also, a three month old may not sleep through the whole night yet. That’s sort of to be expected. If baby wakes up check their needs and try to get back to sleep- I strongly advise against crying especially if it’s so bad the neighbors are complaining. That’s emotionally damaging for a small baby like that. Best of luck.

Why is your baby going to bed for the night at 3am?! It’s also very normal for a 3m old to get up numerous times a night to feed.. crying it out at that age is not appropriate. Your baby is crying because he/she NEEDS you. You need to start a consistent bedtime routine much earlier then 3am.. and expect to continue to get up with baby a few times per night. This broke my heart.
