Morning sickness question?

I am 9 weeks 5 days today and last night (this is gonna be a bit gross) I threw up and there was a bit of blood mixed in towards the end.  I feel like something that came up must have cut my throat because now my throat hurts and everything tastes weird.  
Has this happened to anyone? What did you do to sooth your throat?

call your doctor for their opinion. i just spoke with my midwife for the same reason this morning and she was pretty confident it was either from my throat or from my nose.

I get blood when I strain while puking. It’s normally from my sinuses. I typically end up with a nose bleed. 🙄😐

I’ve had hyperemesis gravidarum with my first and now second pregnancy. This time around it hasn’t happened because I caught it early on but my first pregnancy I would find blood in vomit because of how much I was puking. You can definitely irritate the tissue in your throat and cause some bleeding. It’s very normal with puking.
