Skyla IUD not working... 😕🧐

I’m not sure if my Skyla is working or not.... I have had my Iud since February 2017 and it’s the end of the year and I still have all the symptom I had before I got the Skyla (cramping, bloating, heavy periods) the only thing is sometimes my period will be okay one month and then the next month it’s totally brutal. I thought this Iud was going to stop my periods. Is anyone having any problems with Skyla???
