My little guy is 6 days old. He’s had multiple check ups this week because he’s not gaining weight. I’m making so much milk that he can’t latch without being drowned in milk. The nurse recommended pumping an ounce off, having him latch and drink the rest off and giving him a bottle as supplement 2-4 times a day (the extra that I’m pumping off). So far he’s still struggling to latch, even after pumping. Any tips? I just worry that he may just wait until I follow up with the bottle.
