What age gap for children is best?

I know this is different for everyone but iv always though I wanted them really close in age ! What’s your thoughts? What’s it like having to close ? I’m talking like 13 monthish close

Mine are going to be close to 10 years apart. Which is great if you want a helper, not so great if you want them to play together.

My partner and his brother are 13 months apart, and they get on so well. My siblings and I are all 4 in 4 years, so very close. We’re expecting our second and our babes will be 18 months apart. Do what you want, and what works for you! So many people give me the “oh your hands will be full” well yeah, that’s basically the description of motherhood, regardless of age gaps? 🙄 YOU DO YOU! 😁

My mum had four children under the age of five, we’re all best friends. 
Brother one: 5years
Brother two: 3years
Brother three: 18months 
Me: just born 
My husbands family is very similar and they all get on really well too.

My kids are 3 years apart except my current pregnancy is about 4 years. My kids are 10,7,4& I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant. This spacing worked well for us because it allowed us to get the older children out of diapers before the next one was born, my body was able to heal, and we had time to recover financially in between. Our kids are close right now and really look out for each. They just went out and spent their own money on each other Christmas, it was really heart warming to see them choose that on their. Hopefully all this love carries over into adulthood.

The closer the age the better they get along, in my friends’ experience. Or, if the baby is muuuch younger (10+ years) it can be a big adjustment but my friends ADORE their baby siblings and were like second parents.

My kids will be 10 years apart. I was 18 when I had my first and will be 29 when I have this one. Wasn't by choice but it doesn't bother me.

It's not how close the kids are, but how well you let your body heal that matters. Take it from a mom of 7, you want to wait to conceive again until your baby is a year. 18 months or longer if you've had a c-section. Doesn't matter if they're a year or 2-3 years apart, they will still be close. But YOU will be healthier in the long run, if you give yourself some time. (Also, you can NEVER have that alone time with the oldest again. Can't get it back.)
Good luck with whichever you choose and if you DO conceive back to back, just keep your weight down, eat clean-no junk, exercise and take your prenatals.

Close age gap is nice for the sibling. I have a brother 2 years younger than me and growing up we were always close and played together

Everyone will have a different with a different experience. It’s recommended to wait at least one year to let your body heal from the last pregnancy. We didn’t wait a full year. My daughter just turned one and I’m 17 weeks pregnant. I wanted the first two close in age. We’ll definitely try for a third, but not for a little while. At least 3 years probably.

me n my sister are 6 years , we're pretty close. 
my SO has a 40 yr old sister, he will be 35 in January, and his lil brother is 30 . they are all close. 
my step kids are 15 & 13 (15 yr old will 16 in February) & their little sister (mine and their dads child) is due to be born next month 💕 they are excited and i have no worries of them not being close. 
but my SO and his family are very family oriented so it depends on the mindset of the people involved too . i dont have alot of family (that i consider family) so i cant say same for me.. i was close to my Grandma & dad before they passed, but now i dont have much family
