ran a marathon??

I'm 17 and started running about 6 months ago. I recently ran my first marathon and was curious how many of you guys have run one too! if you have, comment below about how long you've been running and how old you were when you did your first one!

Good job! I’m 26 and started running about 1.5 years ago. The farthest race I’ve ran is a 12k. I’d like to do a half. I just can’t seem to make the time to train for a full. Just got a new treadmill, we have a timid snow here. I love running on a treadmill unlike a lot of people. Time to get back at it harder, I’ve slowed a lot this holiday season with events and sickness

I used to run. I love it! 
I injured my shoulder a few years ago and had to take time off, cuz you use your shoulder a lot in running lol and I hyperextended my ankle the next year, and it’s been 4 years and my ankle still isn’t right. It rolls every time I walk my dog down a hill or something and I have to wrap it a lot if I plan on doing anything faster than a walk. I miss running.

Not yet!  It’s on my bucket list though.  Currently I’m working on a 10k and will go for half marathon hopefully next year if school allows me enough time to train for it.  I’m 45 and just got back into running after a long absence.  Looking forward to doing a marathon one day.

I work medical for the chevron Houston marathon every year:) but I don’t foresee myself ever running one myself lol
