Cramps on one side..?

I have this one side cramp on my lower left side on my back.Im getting these sharp menstrual cramps also.Are these just Braxton Hicks ?It's been going on for 2hrs now.Im 37 weeks and 2 days.Did anyone feel this or know what this could be?I called L&D; they just said to wait until the cramps get unbearable and if it does to come in.

Start keeping track of the cramps. How long do they last? How far apart are they? Are they consistent or irregular? My doctor told me that if I was 5-1-1 (contractions are 5 mins apart, lasting for at least a minute, and this pattern persists for an hour), that I'm probably in labor and should call her to determine if I should go to L&D.;
