warm but no fever?

my baby is very hot to the touch and seems to be uncomfortable. I'll attach pictures. his rectal temp is 98.2 and he's three months old tomorrow. his skin looks like miliaria, which he has had before, but now it seems to be getting worse. I tried to put lotion on it and he screamed his head off. idk what to do, I'm getting married in less than 24 hours 😔

My son had this... I gave him baths with aquaphor bath wash using only my hands no washcloth... Pat dry... No lotion... Air dry then put cornstarch powder all over the rash... Very loose clothing... Went away in a day... I gave him fever/pain medication even though it wasn't at 102 because he was very warm and seemed to be very uncomfortable.

can you take his temp another way?  under the arm i think you add a degree.  if not, i would take him to the ER and let them check him out.

my baby had this same rash last week and i took him to urgent care. they said babies get this benign rash when they fight a virus and if it didnt go away in a couple of daysntoncome back. after 2 days it went away. my babies symptoms were his head felt warm and he was fussy and had a runny nose.
