Missed-Miscarriage and DNC today

I just had a DNC today. I was supposed to be 9 weeks pregnant at our first ultrasound appt. on Tuesday and the ultrasound showed no heartbeat and baby measured at only 8 weeks. I’m 38 and this was my first pregnancy. I luckily got pregnant very quick- within three months so this just feels like a huge slap in the face. Procedure went very well, mild cramping and light bleeding. I just wanna hear from anyone who had a similar experience of miss missed miscarriage but saw light at the end of the tunnel. I’m afraid Bc of my age my time is running out and I don’t want this to happen again. Has anyone got pregnant after this fairly quickly with healthy baby with happy ending? Thank you for your support. I need it. 😓
