My boyfriend and I live 30 minutes apart from each other, we both work 10-12 hrs a day and only have two days off which are the only days we meet. He’s been working extra hard because he’s paying for the construction of his future house in Mexico and we agreed we’re gonna move in together into an apartment when he’s done with that. We both are kind of stressed bc we want to move out of our current places asap, we’re both in pretty stressful conditions. Last night he told me that because one of his coworkers is leaving the job within the next couple weeks, they’re gonna need another worker, he said that Wednesday (one of our two days off) is a pretty good day for the waiters at the restaurant where he works and that he was thinking of working that day as well so that everything with the house and the moving will happen faster (he said Wednesdays would be around 200dls more to his week total) but that he wanted to talk to me first. That’ll mean only seeing each other on Mondays which I honestly don t agree with bc I’ve tried before to actually meet at least 3 days a week and now he tells me “what about we only meet once?” I know it is for a good reason apparently but thinking about it it feels like taking a step backwards or i really don’t know if im overthinking/overreacting or just being negative or if I’m actually being accurate with the situation?? I told him we would talk about it on monday...

Thank you thank you to all of you, i see a lot clearer now that this might be a challenge that will make our relationship stronger. Also it makes me feel better that I’m not the only one in this situation. I love this guy too much to explain and me struggling with what a explained before is just that i really really miss him when we’re apart, he’s my safe place.
