Baby cough

So my son just turned one , and he has a really nasty cough and keeps sneezing . The doctor said he couldn’t give me anything for him because he’s still to small . What are some good home remedies for a really nasty cough ?! Im getting desperate here i feel so bad for my lil man and wish i can take his place .
