My little one will be 3 weeks old on Monday. He has a doctors appointment Tuesday but my breast are killing me! I have heard of gentian violet. How does that work? Has anyone used or heard of it? Is it safe for baby and how do I go about using it?

I'm guessing he got it from his passie because I have never given him a bottle.

Do I also need to throw out all the milk I have stored? 😩

Breastfeeding is SO hard! But I really don't want this to be something that would end it!
