Going to a holiday BYOB get together with friends and they’re all on baby watch for me and I’m not the kind of girl who usually turns down a drink. So the drinks I’m bringing are these beer bottles that I opened, emptied, refilled with a mix of coke and ginger ale (to get the color about right), and recapped. Looks pretty convincing to me!

I went to the get together and of course no one even considered that it wasn’t beer. My only concern was one other guy brought yuegling too and I was afraid he would grab mine, take a taste, and exclaim that his beer tastes like soda to the whole room. My husband thought I was being extra by adding coke for color, but since this other guy was drinking yuengling too it would have been obvious if mine looked totally different from his. People even asked me when my husband and I would start trying. And we had an entire conversation about how women have hidden not drinking at parties! It was so funny. I can’t wait to tell them that I fooled all of them
