what do i get a 5 month old baby girl??? this is my first child and I feel like she has everything LOL

i didnt get anything for christmas for my 4 month old just no need. but when i was using gift cards for toys i would buy toys that he can use for a long time when he gets older like blocks puzzles

We got cute clothes since we normally buy used clothes it's special to get some nice Carter's clothes... a few practical things really...his formula is incredibly expensive so that's all we can afford this time and he won't remember anyway

Personally, if I see my child has enough of the basics, I would set aside the money for every birthdays and Christmas, and also all the money the family give for my baby throughout the years, and put it in a piggybank that he can have as a present when he turns 5 or 6 yo.
That way, he can choose what he really likes and also put the rest in his own bank account he can learn to manage. They have programs to teach kids how to safe.
But that's just me... 😁

My friend started a college fund and for the first few birthdays/christmases wrote a letter, got a couple small things to unwrap, and put the rest of the money she would have spent in the fund. She also asked family to not give gifts and to either donate to charity in his name, or ( immediate family only) write a letter and contribute to his college fund.
