I recently got married (6 months ago) and my mom is really my best friend, we always did everything together. I married into the military and moved where my husband is stationed. I’ve adjusted well but my mom is a very emotional person. Today she put the Christmas tree up at home and cried bc we always did it together. I didn’t think she would be so emotional like this after half a year. We’re going home for Christmas and I am possibly pregnant.

Any advice on announcing it and making it more joyful news rather than her being sad because of so many changes going on?! Please help!
