Am I being unreasonable? (see post)

Nikki

Ok, so this bothers the living crap outta me. I'm a pt sahm, pt employee pulling two different jobs. One has me working evenings, and the other has me working through the day.

My complaint is this: If I'm off for the day or working my evening job, I have something for my husband to eat when he gets home (he works ft). I usually scarf some down before going to work.

Is it wrong to ask for the same? I'm only asking maybe one out of the two days I work this day job(weekends). By the time I get home, I've been on my feet all day and just want to fill out my report and sit down. Instead of that, I'm making dinner.

And before asking, why not just make something for myself and not him, I am also cooking for our two kids, so if I don't cook, it's PB&J;'s or poptarts for them and the younger one needs more than that.

He's not great in the kitchen, but there are a couple things he knows how to make. I've sent him recipes and whatnot, so it's not like he's got nothing to help him.

Maybe I'm just cranky after a rough night and a long day, but coming home to breakfast dishes still in the sink, him asleep on the couch with the 1 year old, and nothing made for dinner is leaving me pretty pissed off.
