Im 24 weeks and my stomach keeps getting really hard/tight ever so often and it's super uncomfortable. What could it be? I never had anything like this with my first baby

Braxton Hicks contractions, I’ve been able to notice them since 16wks this time round. Ended up in hospital with severe BH last weekend, painful and 3mins apart for 5hrs - cervix was closed and no other symptoms of labour thankfully, they resolved to normal - random, non-painful BH later on. Dehydration and stress related in that case.

I get this sometimes mainly after eating and an active on my feet a lot sort of day, never thought it was Braxton hicks tho.  for me it's like abs of steel and what I thought was round ligament pain. 1st pregnancy so no idea wtf is going on most the time
