Boudoir public shoot : Etymological heresy ?

I am in a twisted mood today so here is my twisted thought: Isn't it ridiculous to make a boudoir shoot and share it to everyone based on the original meaning of boudoir (from the French verb "bouder")?

Words change, it originally meant that but is now “a beautifully decorated room used in the past by a woman for sleeping, dressing, relaxing, and entertaining”

I don’t find it ridiculous if one wants to share their public boudoir with others. It’s a room for relaxing, sleeping, enjoying oneself, and mischief.

I have to cringe when people I tangentially know post boudoir shots on FB or whatever. Definitely attention-seeking behavior. Also, I don’t wanna scroll down through my feed and see my friend’s butt in a thong unexpectedly. I mean JFC.

I always laugh when men post their wive boudoir shoots and think god I’m glad that’s not me. I don’t want those photos public!! How embarrassing for my children.
