Transition after highschool

So I graduated in August this year from highschool after I took some summer school classes. Ever since then I've been trying to get a job. The same thing keeps happening they don't call back after three follow ups. I get why my applications look horrible, it's because I've never had a full job because I was babysitting so much and since I wasn't paid I can't put that on an app. So I've been thinking what the hell should I do? I wanted to go to school in fall 2018 for my esthetician license and after thinking about it more and asking people who were in that field I figured maybe not. My mom has been telling me I should just go to school for prerequisites but I don't want to go to school for something I might not even use. Did any of you end up not knowing what to do and not go to collage? If so what did you do?
