Did your white gold ring fade ?

My ring is 18k white gold and I’ve been told it fades and becomes yellowish. My ring it’s pretty new so it hasn’t happen yet but I’m afraid I’ll mess it up.

it probably has yellow gold underneath. you can get it redipped.

Mine seems like it’s a little dull but you can really only tell compared to something new and you can’t see it from the front of my finger so not a huge deal. Just keep it clean and it should be fine

It could be that it’s only plated with white gold. We bought the insurance for it. Take it in every six months and they’ll fix or replace anything. My husband has had to have his replated because of his job type.

nope. mine is 9 years old and it's still nice and silver. I do notice when it needs to get cleaned it might have a gold tinge to it, but goes right back to being normal again after cleaning.

Yup, after almost 6yrs mine has a yellowish tinge to it. My mother told me it's all on where you purchase from, some chains kinda water down their products and the results are jewelry that fades quickly. We got ours from Zales, which has since gone out of business, so there might be some truth to what my mom said.
