I believe she’s asking if you take an opk near your period, and it’s positive, does it mean you’re pregnant. This is a huge misconception I’ve noticed on this site. Yes if you are pregnant, you will get a positive opk because LH is similar to HCG molecularly and an opk will pick up HCG and read it as positive for LH, BUT (huge BUT here), only at the same time you would get a solid positive pregnancy test. The biggest (and unfortunate) problem with using opks as pregnancy predictors is the fact that 1-3 day before the onset of your period, you will get another LH surge to halt progesterone production and ready the uterine lining for shedding, meaning....you are not pregnant and are about to get your period.

If your asking if you can use a ovulation test to test pregnancy the answer is no. Unlike what others think your LH hormone (the one you get when you ovulate) actually disappears when your pregnant it doesn't increase therefore an ovulation test wouldn't show positive if your pregnant. All a ovulation test does is tell you that your about to ovulate.
